This summer, two former WUSC and current High School players Isabelle Kressy and Bella Kogon, are organizing 24 hours of Barefoot Soccer. This event has been going on for a few years and we are delighted to support it again!
The event will take place August 4th starting at 12 noon and go until August 5th at 12 noon (it goes all night long!) at Hunnewell Fields in Wellesley, MA. Anyone, of any soccer skill level, is welcome to play some fun soccer scrimmages and fun games (like power and finesse). It costs $25 to participate and this includes a t-shirt! No need for cleats, shin guards, etc. because everyone plays barefoot! 24 Hours of Soccer raises money for the charity Grassroot Soccer. Grassroot Soccer uses the power of soccer to connect young people with the mentors, information, and health services they need to live healthier, more productive lives, and be agents of change in their communities.
