Why We Exist
Our Mission
Wellesley United Soccer Club's mission is to develop character, teamwork, and a lifelong love of soccer in every player while strengthening our community through sport.
We're committed to creating a positive environment where players of all ages and abilities can learn, compete, and grow on and off the field.
Who We Are
Our Story
WUSC has been part of the Wellesley community since 1978, bringing players together to learn, compete, and grow through the game of soccer.
What began as a small town league has evolved into one of the largest community-based youth soccer organizations in Massachusetts — and the largest youth sports program in Wellesley — with more than 1,830 players from Pre-K through Grade 12 each season.
For more than four decades, WUSC has remained 100% volunteer-run and dedicated to giving every player the opportunity to play the game and develop a lifelong love of soccer.
Each season, that mission is made possible by more than 300 volunteer coaches, 150 student referees, 9 professional coaches, and countless parent volunteers.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we’re proud to give back through programs like TOPSoccer for players with disabilities, financial assistance, annual fundraisers, and scholarships for graduating seniors.
In addition to our core programs, seasonal clinics, and private training opportunities, WUSC hosts an annual Wellesley Memorial Day Tournament, welcoming U9-U10 (Grades 3-4) teams from across New England for a weekend of great soccer and fun.
It's all part of our ongoing commitment to using soccer as a force for good in Wellesley and beyond.
