TOPSoccer Program

TOPSoccer is a US Youth Soccer-affiliated program that provides children and young adults with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities the opportunity to play soccer in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.

WUSC launched its TOPSoccer program in 2013 to offer inclusive soccer opportunities for players in Grades K-12 from Wellesley and neighboring communities.

The program welcomes players from Wellesley and surrounding communities in Grades K-12 with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities. All experience levels are welcome. No prior soccer or sports experience is required.

TOPSoccer typically runs for 6-7 weeks each Fall and Spring season.
Sessions are held once per week, usually on Sundays at Sprague Fields in Wellesley.

Each player is matched with a trained volunteer “buddy” who provides one-on-one or small-group support. Sessions include fun warm-ups, skill-building activities, and small-sided games designed for success and enjoyment at every level.

Players build confidence, coordination, and teamwork skills while forming lasting friendships. Working with the same buddy each week helps strengthen social connections and fosters a true sense of belonging on the team.

Families can expect a positive, inclusive, and adaptive environment focused on fun and personal growth. Our goal is for every player to feel encouraged, supported, and valued as part of the Wellesley soccer community.
