Spring 2023 Sunday Morning Pre-K Teams

for players who will enter Kindergarten in Fall 2023 (born before 9/1/2018).  There will be a program for younger Pre-K players (at least 2 years prior to K- born before 9/1/2019) on Wed. afternoons.  More info coming in late January.

This Pre-K soccer is held on Sunday mornings, Sprague field 2, from 8:30-9:15am. This will be parent volunteer coaching, with the assistance of High School students, and one on-site professional coach.

There will also be a Wednesday program (Wellesley Development Program), 1:00-1:45pm at Elm Bank which is an additional session that is registered separately (not open yet).  This Wed. session will be open to players 2 years prior to Kindergarten as well as older PreK group.   

 The Sunday Kindergarten Program will provide seven 45-minute sessions of age appropriate team practice activities and games for Wellesley’s Pre-K players. Players are assigned to a team of 5-6 players and each team is a different color. They play a small sided (3v3) game each week against a different team. 

WHO: Player who are currently 1 year prior to Kindergarten who will enter Kindergarten in fall 2023.   Players must live in Wellesley or attend school in Wellesley.

WHERE:   Girls and Boys played at Sprague Field. Players will get team assignment via email in early April.  

WHEN: Sunday mornings 8:30-9:15 a.m. Spring season runs for 7 sessions  (4/23, 4/30. 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 6/4, 6/11). Makeup 6/18 if needed
Many parent coaches are needed!  Sign up to coach when you register your child.  Coaches will be emailed training plans and will need to arrive 15 minutes ahead to review lesson plan for the day. There are no additional practices during the week.

COST: Fee is $150.  Payment is by credit card only.  

REFUND POLICY for Pre-K: Full refund (less $10 processing fee) up to March 1, 2023, 50% refund March 1 - April 10, 2023, no refund after April 10, 2023.  

WHAT you need : All players and coaches will be given a t shirt.  Shin pads are required.  Cleats are recommended.  Players should bring a size 3 soccer ball to practice. 

VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED!: Parents can sign up to volunteer as a head or assistant coach when you register your child.  If you would like to sign up after your registration was done, please log back into your registration account to volunteer.  Coaches should plan to arrive at field 15 minutes prior to players to review lesson plan with training director.
